Technology Partner Completes Site Walkdowns and Feedstock Sampling

BioTech’s core technology partner completed site walkdowns at both Nebraska project locations, conducting on the ground assessments of farm operations, feedstock logistics, and site access. During the visit, the vendor also collected manure samples for detailed biomethane potential (BMP) testing and substrate characterization.

These samples will confirm gas yields, validate feedstock consistency, and optimize process parameters for each facility. Sample based modeling allows the engineering team to refine digester sizing, gas upgrading capacity, flare requirements, and nutrient rich digestate handling systems with greater accuracy.

The walkdowns also provided valuable insight into material flow, equipment placement, and the physical integration of the plants with existing farming operations. The resulting data package will be used to support early engineering deliverables and confirm that each site can achieve the strong gas production performance demonstrated by advanced German digester systems globally.
