BioTech Engages Specialist Firm for Life Cycle Assessment and CI Scoring

BioTech has executed a consulting agreement to perform project specific Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and establish Carbon Intensity (CI) scores for its renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities. These analyses are critical for participating in environmental attribute markets, including RINs, LCFS style programs, and emerging federal tax credit frameworks.

The LCA process examines every stage of the project’s environmental profile—from feedstock sourcing and digestion efficiency to gas upgrading, flaring systems, and transportation pathways. The resulting CI scores help validate BioTech’s low carbon performance and support long term offtake negotiations, investment underwriting, and regulatory approvals.

This engagement positions BioTech to secure premium environmental credits and strengthens the data backbone for long term commercial agreements as development accelerates across multiple states.
