BioTech Selects U.S. Engineering Partner for Gas Upgrading System Design

BioTech has selected a U.S. engineering partner to design the Gas Upgrading Systems for its upcoming RNG facilities—one of the most technically significant components of each project. While the digestion systems generate raw biogas, the upgrading systems refine it into pipeline quality methane by removing carbon dioxide, ammonia, moisture, contaminants, and trace compounds.

These systems then compress the cleaned gas to interstate pipeline pressure. This multi stage separation and compression process ensures consistent gas purity, safe operations, and long term reliability.

With an engineering partner now formally engaged, BioTech’s teams can begin detailed design development for gas upgrading across the first wave of projects. Early collaboration with this firm will support seamless integration with civil design, pipeline interconnect engineering, and the broader plant layout—advancing all projects toward construction readiness.
