BioTech Engages Consultant for EPA RIN Program Registration
BioTech has executed a consulting agreement to support the registration of its RNG projects with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) program. This process is required for generating D3 Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs), the key environmental credits associated with lignocellulosic renewable natural gas.
The consulting team will manage the preparation of required documentation, pathway verification, compliance modeling, and coordination with EPA reviewers. Successfully registering each facility ensures that BioTech’s RNG qualifies for federal environmental credit markets, creating a major revenue stream that enhances the economic performance of every project in the development pipeline.
With this agreement in place, BioTech is positioned to efficiently navigate the regulatory approval process and meet all compliance requirements ahead of plant commissioning.
