BioTech Finalizes Development Agreement for Iowa RNG Facility

BioTech has signed the development agreement for its Iowa RNG facility, marking another major advancement in the company’s first wave of projects. The Iowa site will utilize the advanced German digestion platform to convert locally sourced agricultural feedstocks into pipeline quality RNG, supporting both regional economic development and nationwide decarbonization goals.

Securing this agreement positions the Iowa project to move into permitting, engineering, land preparation, and feedstock contracting. It also strengthens BioTech’s geographic diversification, adding another high yield location to the broader project portfolio. With sites progressing simultaneously across the Midwest, BioTech continues to accelerate its strategy of building one of the most scalable RNG platforms in the U.S.
